Can I try Fighting Fit before joining?
Yes. Start with a quick 10-minute call, then attend a free introductory class. If you enjoy it, you can select a membership and continue with a free seven-day trial before your membership begins.
When will I be charged?
We securely collect your payment information when your seven-day trial begins. Your selected membership starts automatically after the trial unless you email billing@fightingfitaustin.com before your first billing day to cancel. Your trial usually begins the day after your free first class, unless you arrange a different start date.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes. Memberships begin with a 12-week minimum commitment. After that, your membership continues on an ongoing basis and may be canceled by emailing billing@fightingfitaustin.com with seven days' notice.
Can I cancel during the free trial?
Yes. Email billing@fightingfitaustin.com before your first billing day and your selected membership will not begin.
Can I combine Kickboxing and No-Gi Jiu Jitsu?
Yes. The two-classes-per-week membership can be used for any combination of Muay Thai Kickboxing and No-Gi Jiu Jitsu. Unlimited members can attend either program as often as they like. Each class counts separately toward the two-class weekly allowance, including back-to-back classes and Open Mat / Sparring.
What equipment will I need?
You do not need to bring or buy training equipment during your free week; loaner gloves are available. After your trial, Heavy Bag requires boxing gloves and wraps. Pads & Partners also requires shin guards. Sparring requires a mouthpiece and protective cup. No-Gi Jiu Jitsu requires a rashguard and mouthpiece. You may buy equipment from us or anywhere you prefer. Gym-branded gear is not required. Elbow and knee pads are encouraged but never required.
Can I freeze my membership?
Yes. Membership freezes are available at no charge for up to four weeks. Request a freeze at least 48 hours in advance by emailing billing@fightingfitaustin.com. A freeze extends your initial commitment by the time paused. Longer freezes may be approved depending on the circumstances.
Is Fighting Fit Elite included?
Fighting Fit Elite is an optional $30-per-week upgrade to either group membership. It adds a weekly 45-minute semi-private Muay Thai Kickboxing lesson with a coach and a consistent team of no more than four students. Group-class access follows your underlying membership; Elite does not make a two-class plan unlimited.
What is included in the nutrition portal?
Every membership includes access to meal plans, recipes, meal-prep guidance, eating-out guides, travel tips, and practical tools for building sustainable nutrition habits.
Is personal nutrition coaching included?
Personal nutrition coaching is an optional paid service. Fighting Fit members may begin with a free initial meeting with our certified nutrition coach.
